Portfolio and Work Examples
Websites
Here are some "honest" examples of my frontend coding work over the past few years. Some sites may differ to the deliverables I supplied the client with, due to content management systems, but more specifically some web illiterate users of said systems.. but you get the idea!

The Early Learning Centre (2007)
When freelancing in the summer I was asked to code up the new Early Learning Centre design which was implemented shortly afterwards. The design has since changed, but taking the uber small font sizes used on the website into consideraion, I can see why it didn't stick for too long.

The Atlanta Academy of Music (2008)
I coded the CSS for this one. It took a while for this to come online - and now it has, it seems someone went a little crazy with marquees. If you view the source, you'll see ASP.NET went a little crazy with the viewstate as well.

I Avion (2008)
I was approached by the friendly people at SuisseSEO to code up this layout's CSS back in 2008. The site has since been featured in Smashing Magazine for its design, which I think looks the mint.

CSS Slicing Guide (2007)
Back in 2007 I wrote this guide to help convert people from tables. Since then I've learned a lot more, namely how not to abuse the div tag and I'm currently in the process of rewriting it. Again, it featured in Smashing Magazine as well as being popular in Digg and Reddit.

The Deceptionist (2008)
I worked with the mighty Ade Gower from Monster Creations to code the frontend, integrate Sav's blog through Blogger and throw in some inline slideshows. I'm pretty proud of the site since it pulls off a rustic look and feel without sacrificing ease of navigation. One of my favourite projects through freelancing so far.

My Last Song (2010)
Working with Josh and Dan from Better Brief, I took part in some UAT testing of the old site's layout, behaviour and overall workflow. Afterwards I was given a new layout to code up - while the implementation of the layout is slightly different from my final deliverable, it's still tons better than the original look and feel.
